Loose Women's Denise Welch fumes that she wasn't on show to 'stand up' for Meghan Markle
Loose Women panellists spoke about Meghan Markle.The former Coronation Street star was a regular co-host from 2005 to 2013.She then returned in 2018 and has been on the ITV programme ever since.But Denise was absent during Monday's show as Jane Moore used a conversation concerning Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Charles to take a dig at Meghan.During the episode, the TV journalist was joined by Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Linda Robson as they discussed Queen Elizabeth's decision to make Camilla Queen Consort when Prince Charles becomes king.It was believed that the Duchess of Cornwall would be referred to as Princess Consort, but the Queen has since declared it was her "sincere wish" for Camilla to obtain her new title in due time.The Loose Women co-hosts discussed the ups and downs Camilla faced when she first joined the Royal Family shortly after Princess Diana's death.Jane decided to draw comparisons between Meghan and Camilla when she chimed in, saying it might not have been "right" how the latter ended up with her partner, but she has "just quietly got on with it".She continued to add that Camilla has been "really dutiful, done all the stuff the Royal Family are expected to do."Jane said: "And I think there's a real lesson in that in a way, for Meghan."Because Meghan came here and everybody loved her."But shortly after tying the knot with Prince Harry, Jane claimed it appeared as if the former actress "didn't like" moving to the UK to perform her royal duties.Because she was American, Jane believed that being across the pond eventually made Meghan feel "homesick," but if she had done what Camilla did and "just got on with it," things would have been fine."So, it's a shame," she concluded.Denise was
