Why Duchess Camilla didn't wear a wedding tiara for Prince Charles nuptials
When Camilla Parker-Bowles married Prince Charles in 2005, it wasn't the first time walking up the aisle for either of them. The two divorcees wed in an intimate ceremony at Windsor Guildhall attended by close friends and family. The proceedings were in stark contrast to Prince Charles' 1981 previous wedding to Princess Diana, particularly the dress of the bride. While Diana wore a huge bespoke gown with a 25 ft train and bejewelled tiara, Camilla opted for something more low key with a fascinator and later a hat both designed by Phillip Treacy. The now Duchess of Cornwall wore two unconventional outfits which were both designed by Anna Valentine and Antonia Robinson. The first was a cream silk chiffon dress with a matching coat, followed by a pale blue chiffon gown with a long-sleeved, gold-embroidered coat over the top.
