In what can be considered to be one of the best tributes, the diaries written by late actor Alan Rickman are reportedly going to be published as a book. This also includes 27 volumes of his candid and witty thoughts about career and life spanning for about 25 years.

Harry Potter actor, who died aged 69 in 2016, began writing his diaries by hand in the early 1990s, always with the intention that they would one day be published.Now, his dream is coming true, as 27 volumes of his ‘witty, gossipy and utterly candid’ inner thoughts will be published as one book, The Diaries Of Alan Rickman.Publishing house Canongate has acquired the rights to the diaries, with Scottish Review of Books editor Alan Taylor set to edit the book.Rickman’s widow Rima Horton said she was ‘delighted’ by the news, saying: ‘The diaries reveal not just Alan Rickman the actor, but the real Alan – his sense of humour, his sharp observation, his craftsmanship and his devotion to the arts.’Speaking to the Guardian, Taylor said that the

The Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins stepped back from directing the Marvel Cinematic Universal film when the script offered to her was not as per her expectations. The director reportedly said that she did not wish to disappoint the fans of MCU and audience members to such an extent where they feel the film missed its mark because of her. Patty Jenkins states that fear was that the fans would think why a woman directed the film and missed including all the crucial elements. The MCU film Thor Dark World then fell into the lap of director Alan Taylor. The film performed well at the box office but sadly was considered one of the worst MCU flicks to date.
