Nicole Kidman is opening up about how she got involved from just being a producer on Special Ops: Lioness, to being one of its’ stars.
The 56-year-old actress opened up in a new interview about the Paramount+ series, working with Taylor Sheridan and taking on a role outside her comfort zone. Keep reading to find out more… Nicole told Deadline that she was nervous about taking on the part. “I’ve never done this,” she shared. “It was espionage and action.” However, once she spoke more with Taylor, she was on board: “I was like, “Maybe I could play a pivotal role” but not a lead role because of “balancing life and profession.” “I knew that I wanted to produce it, and then Taylor and I kept talking.
We worked on ideas and kept massaging it,” Nicole continued. She stars alongside Zoe Saldana, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman in the upcoming series which centers on the life of Joe while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror.
