Mum admits to leaving one child at home to take the other on holiday

A mum has suggested taking one child on holiday and leaving the other at home. She says that she does this, and then repeats the process with the other child, so that she can get more quality time with each child.

The mum adds that it's not about saving money, it's just about giving each child her full attention during a holiday. The mum is called Julie Cook and she works as a freelance journalist.

While she loves a trip away, Julie says that she isn't overly keen on the whole family affair when it comes to holiday as it can make what should be a relaxing experience a whole lot more stressful.

It's not any one person's fault that it can become tricky to keep everyone happy on a family trip, rather that just tends to be the nature of keeping multiple people who want to see and do different things happy.
