Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United and Manchester City - have come together in support of the movement, with the Premier League agreeing for player names to be replaced for the opening round of fixtures - after it was previously agreed a Black Lives Matter logo would be placed on shirts next to one supporting the NHS and key workers.
Alongside this, players will also be supported if they decide to take a knee before or during games. United's Marcus Rashford has previously voiced his support for the movement.
City star Raheem Sterling has also backed Black Lives Movement, making an appearance on Newsnight to discuss the campaign.The move represents a more organised response to the movement than that of the Bundesliga, where players showed their support.
