Love Island's Jay tells Jacques and Ekin-Su about his feelings toward Paige: 'I'm shocked'

Jay Younger is set to shock his fellow Islanders on Thursday night’s episode of Love Island as he will reveal to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Jacques O’Neill that he’s wanting to get to know Paige Thorne “on a better level”. Paige is currently coupled up with Gemma Owen’s ex Jacques, with Wednesday night’s episode showing the pair enjoying a night in the Hideaway together.

With things appearing to get steamy between the two, Paige and Jacques have insisted that they kept things PG – but their fellow Islanders aren’t buying it. Meanwhile, Jay is coupled up with Ekin-Su after he swiped her off Italian stallion Davide, but he’s now set his sights on Paige instead.

The teaser for tonight’s episode shows Ekin-Su and Jay come to blows over his behaviour, with the Turkish actress going on to call him a “player” but, after things calm down between the two, Jay goes on to put his cards on the table. Speaking with Ekin-Su at the fire pit, Jay says: “Obviously, you’ve probably sensed that I’ve been a bit off today and yesterday and it’s just because I want to be honest with my feelings.

And I feel like because I moved so fast with you I didn’t get the chance to explore getting to know one Islander in particular here, which is Paige.” Ekin-Su says: “I’m shocked with the Paige thing - wow!” Jay says: “I wanted to tell you first because I respect you and I owe you the respect.” The Scotsman's happy with the way Ekin-Su receives the news and up next, he tells Jacques that he is keen to get to know Paige. Speaking to the rugby player, Jay says: “I don’t want anything to get between us and I’m telling you man-to-man.
