Manchester United have been linked with a move for Erling Haaland for some time now. The Dortmund forward is widely considered to be one of the best young players in the world, and Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows him well, having managed him at Molde.
But the Red Devils are in competition with a number of teams for the Norwegian's signature. What's more, Man United recently splashed out £73million on Haaland's former teammate Sancho, meaning they're not exactly flush with cash to go on and sign a £100million-plus forward.
It is because of this that an audacious swap deal has been mooted. Sancho's introduction at Old Trafford has put pressure on existing players at the club already struggling for first-team football.
