Jean-Marc Vallée has passed away. The Canadian director, producer, and writer suddenly passed away at the age of 58 at his cabin outside Quebec City on Sunday (December 26), according to Deadline.
As of right now, the cause of Jean-Marc‘s death has not been revealed, and it is being reported that his family and close friends are “in shock.” Jean-Marc is best known for directing and Dallas Buyers Club, which earned him an Oscar nomination.
He also directed the first season of Big Little Lies, which earned him an Emmy Award and DGA Award. Jean-Marc also directed the movie of adaption of Wild, starring Reese Witherspoon, and the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects, starring Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson.
