Dennis Bergkamp could be set for an emotional return to Arsenal as part of Mikel Arteta's backroom team. The Gunners legend, 51, spent 11 years with Arsenal as a player before retiring at the club and moving into coaching.
After six years working at Ajax as a coach he left the Dutch outfit in 2017 and has not held a job in football since. However as per a report from The Sun, Arteta wants the former striker to head back to Arsenal as a first-team coach.
Bergkamp's old teammate Freddie Ljungberg has just resigned from his role at the club, leaving a vacancy which Arteta is keen to fill sooner rather than later.
Both Bergkamp and Ljungberg formed part of Arsenal's 2004 Invincibles side, with the latter now moving on to focus on his own
