What do you eat before a big race?Clean food that I know supports my run and agrees with me. A Hawaiian pizza the night before is my ritual, and I eat oats with almond butter and berries pre-race.What do you drink in a big race?A lot of water in the days leading up to the race as well as adding electrolytes.
I use Maurten gels and drink during the race - this is a carb drink which suits me very well - and water.How do you recover?Good food and rest, which always involves my Hyperice tools, such as the recovery boots and Comrad compression socks.What do you remember to enjoy?The opportunity the duration of the race gives me to switch off my mind.
