A Salford dining concept hailed for its smashed patty burgers is preparing to open a brand new restaurant.

That Burger Place, the burger restaurant in Swinton, has scored itself a place in the finals of the National Burger Awards. Burger chef Ryan McDermott will now have to go head-to-head with 15 other finalists in a live cook-off taking place next month in London.
