BBC traffic reporter Michelle Dignan breaks down on air before exit ‘Really hard to leave’
Michelle Dignan, choked back tears as she bid farewell to the programme she has worked on for the past 10 years. Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live presenters Rachel Burden and Nicky Campbell, Michelle expressed her gratitude for the experience.She said: “I feel like I just want to say thank you to everybody.“I think that anyone knows that when you leave a job after a long time not only do you look back at what you’ve done in your work, but you look at your personal life too.“I started as a young, free, and single twenty-odd-year-old and in these 10 years I’m now married with kids.”Rachel added: “I remember the morning after the night we had out when we met [your husband].”Michelle added: “My personal life has changed so much but 5 Live, you guys
