Scots couple stranded in Spain after robbers stole their passports and all their belongings
charity trip.Simon Mhoja, 34 and Magdalena Rutkowska, 29, began their cross-continent journey by driving from Edinburgh to Tanzania.There, they spent time raising money for the Landesa charity which educates impoverished communities on their land rights.The couple, both of whom work for Network Rail, have spent over a decade living in Edinburgh, according to Edinburgh Live.Simon, originally from Tanzania and Magdalena, originally from Poland, described the trip as a once in a lifetime opportunity.Magda said: “We started off the charity trip with the best of intentions through raising money for a great cause. It was supposed to be a once in a lifetime journey that we would remember for the rest of our lives.
