Roy Keane’s epic response to surgeons and physio after his worst injury at Man Utd
Manchester United physio Dave Fevre has revealed Roy Keane’s rather epic response to hearing he had ruptured his cruciate ligament.Keane suffered the worst injury of his career as he sprinted alongside Alf-Inge Haaland during a Premier League clash in 1997 against Leeds United. The Irishman went down, prompting a furious reaction from Haaland, but it later emerged that Keane had would need to undergo an extensive rehabilitation programme to recover from his ruptured cruciate ligament.Fevre was the man to break the news to then-United skipper Keane, who appeared to take it much better than it may have been expected.“We were waiting for the surgeon,” Fevre told The Athletic.
