'Rubbish Paddlers' turning tide on pollution as they clear South Ayrshire waterways of waste
South Ayrshire's waterways of waste.Charlotte Megret and Neil Smith – known as the Rubbish Paddlers – have been paddle boarding along the River Doon and out to sea; picking up rubbish as they go. The pair, who live in Maybole and are both outdoor educators with Neil working at nearby Dolphin House, hope to give something back to the places they paddle, encourage a circular economy by upcycling finds and share their environmental nuggets along the way.
