Yard Act have been named in a new study as this summer’s most-booked new music act on the European festival circuit.The annual study, which is conducted by the European talent exchange programme ESNS Exchange, sheds a light on “the most promising European emerging acts of the moment”.Yard Act have come out on top of this year’s study, racking up 11 bookings at ESNS Exchange-affiliated festivals in 2022.The four-piece are three ahead of Ukrainian rapper Alyona Alyona, Priya Ragu and Wet Leg, who have eight European festival bookings each.

Eurovision Song Contest 2024.According to Eurovision World, the favourites to win the competition have been revealed. Coming in first place is Switzerland’s NEMO, who currently has a 25 per cent chance at snagging the crown this year with their song ‘The Code’.Behind Switzerland in second place is Croatia, whose entry Baby Lasagna is predicted to have a 17 per cent chance of winning with his song ‘Rim Tim Tagi Dim’.

Open’er Festival has announced its next batch of acts for 2023, including Metro Boomin, Caroline Polachek, Rina Sawayama and more.Also added to the bill are Paolo Nutini, Young Fathers, Alyona Alyona, Warhaus and Ken Carson, who join the previously announced headliners Arctic Monkeys, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X and Lizzo, with the likes of Christine and the Queens, Queens Of The Stone Age, Machine Gun Kelly and more also on the bill.The Polish festival will be held at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport in Gdynia from June 28-July 1, 2023.
