After years of living in the posh central L.A. neighborhood of Hancock Park, YouTube superstar Lilly Singh has finally decided to join many of her fellow content creators in suburban bliss — way over yonder on the other side of ye olde hill, so to speak. The Canadian comedian has packed her things and hightailed it out to the San Fernando Valley, where she’s purchased a brand-new, $4.1 million residential retreat.

Filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow has put her longtime home in L.A.’s Beverly Hills Post Office area, overlooking a wide swathe of the San Fernando Valley in the mountains above L.A.’s Studio City, back up for sale with a price tag of $10.9 million. The current ask is a substantial amount less than the $12.9 million the double Oscar winner originally asked when the secluded spread first popped up for sale almost a year and a half ago. Now listed with Dustin Nicholas of Nicholas Property Group, the not-quite-two-acre property has been owned by Bigelow since 1989 when she and her now ex-husband, Oscar winning filmmaker James Cameron, acquired it for $1.8 million. The property was transferred to Bigelow the year following their 1991 divorce.

It’s no secret that social media superstar David Dobrik and his ubiquitous Vlog Squad circle of friends are YouTube’s hottest flavors of the moment, with their vlogs routinely racking up millions of views and attracting hordes of new subscribers. The crew’s popularity has also enticed an ensemble cast of celebrity guest stars — John Stamos, Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner have all appeared in the vlogs, just to name a few — and secured lucrative sponsorship deals from the likes of SeatGeek and Honey.
