designer Natacha Ramsay-Levi stepped down from a four-year stint as the head of Chloé, the Parisian fashion house has announced her successor.Uruguayan-American Gabriela Hearst, the go-to eco designer for duchesses and first ladies, gets the job, effective immediately, a spokesperson has said.The appointment of Hearst is an exciting and interesting one for fans of Chloé. Hearst’s own New York-based eponymous label is relatively small, with around £15 million in sales in 2019, compared to the heritage house Chloé’s juggernaut €510 million.But Chloé, compared to some of its other stablemates, is a smaller piece of the Richemont Group’s pie.
