Manchester nightclub owner launches legal challenge to government's 10pm curfew

Mr Joseph operates four prominent LGBTQ+ bars across the UK, including Canal Street's G-A-Y, since launching in London more than 40 years ago.He has instructed leading barristers to challenge these restrictions, supported by The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA).Barristers at Kings Chambers, including Sam Karim QC, Sarah Clover and Leo Charalambides, along with Dan Rosenberg of Simpson Miller Solicitors have now served a pre-action protocol for judicial review.The action is also supported by G-A-Y's legal advisor Kirsty McShannon, of Azorra Ltd.The legal team has written to Matt Hancock with a formal challenge to the curfew.
