Sophie Wessex emotional over mother's death: 'She hasn't seen my children grow up'
After she lost her mother Mary Rhys-Jones back in 2005, Sophie Wessex has opened up about the heartache over her not being able to see her grandchildren grow up.The Royal family member, who shared a rare glimpse into her home, lost her mum when she passed away in August 2001 at the age of 71. During an appearance at the National Federation of Women's Institutes annueal meeting, the 56 year old shared her grief over losing her loved one.The Countess of Wessex expressed: "To this day, I miss her very much and there are moments where I hear some music she loved or I do something I know she'd have wanted to hear about, which makes her early departure very hard.
