Sir Chris Hoy ’s career.Scottish Bake Off contestant Peter Sawkins has honoured his cycling hero by making a cake of him on the hit show.Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith asked the 12 bakers on the new series of The Great British Bake Off to express their creativity by designing a 3D edible bust of their favourite celebrity.And Edinburgh student Peter, 20, went for the cream of the crop by choosing six-times Olympic winner and 11-times world champion Sir Chris.Peter, who grew up in the same city as Sir Chris, designed a Victoria sponge that showed him dressed in a fondant Team GB cycling top, goggles and helmet.
