RADIO 2 listeners were left shocked this morning after Zoe Ball was replaced on her Breakfast Show. The broadcaster revealed she had to miss her early morning slot after a health emergency on Monday.
Zoe, 52, was replaced by former Radio 1 host Vernon Kay for her weekday morning show. After being inundated by messages from concerned fans, Zoe revealed she had to step down due to a health emergency.
She told her followers on Twitter: "So, I've got Covid. But the good news is your man Vernon Kay is looking after y'all." "Back soon," Zoe added, underneath a picture of her, Vernon, 48, and their radio pal Rylan smiling together.
