The Met Office has issued yellow snow and ice warnings as Storm Christoph brings weather chaos across the UK. Forecasters have warned spells of snow are likely to continue in some areas of Scotland overnight.

The snow warnings cover Dumfries, Galloway, Lothian and Borders, Central, Tayside and Fife until Wednesday at 9am. The Met has warned some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
