The Manchester City legend spent three seasons in Spain after signing from Monaco in 2007 having played in Ligue 1 for just one season.Prior to this he had only played in Belgium, Ukraine and Greece after moving to Europe from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in July 2001.He has now said that he would happily repay the faith that Barcelona showed in him during his career by helping the club in the future as they struggle financially.Writing on Twitter, Toure said: "My time at Barcelona was one of the best memories of my playing career."The club has decided to trust me when I was still a young player, yet to establish myself in the top leagues.
