Xbox Bethesda Showcase - games revealed, Starfield release date and follow-up event times

Xbox and Bethesda have revealed dozens of games all releasing within the next 12 months. The showcase, which was held at 6pm on June 12, bombarded viewers with trailer after trailer.

Almost all of the content is coming straight to Game Pass, Microsoft’s ‘Netflix for video games’ that has proved to be an immense hit over the last couple of years.

However, on everybody’s mind was Starfield, the next game from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Fallout developer, Bethesda. Many of the details for Starfield have already been pieced together, but this gave us the first proper look at gameplay, features and scale.

The Xbox Bethesda Showcase wasted no time in giving Xbox Series X and PC owners a lot to look forward to.The show started with an in-depth look at Arkane Studio’s new vampire-playing co-op shooter Redfall.From the developers of the highly acclaimed Dishonored and Prey, the new game is pushing the studio into the multiplayer realm with up to four players in a team.The next biggest game was A Plague Tale: Requiem, at atmospheric story-driven experience about a brother and sister surviving a deadly rat plague.Another one of the most-anticipated games shown was Forza Motorsport, the long-awaited sequel to Forza Motorsport 7.After the immense success of Forza Horizon 5 from 2021, developer Turn 10 have blown fans away with the truly next-gen immersive experience of Motorsport.Speaking of Forza Horizon 5, that will also be getting a Hot Wheel DLC, continuing the beloved tradition going for the franchise.Overwatch 2 also featured heavily, with Blizzard Activision showcasing some extensive gameplay of the sequel to one of multiplayer’s most lucrative hits.Blizzard also announced that Diablo 4 was coming to the Xbox Series X,.
