Dublin singer Mary Byrne has jumped to pop impressario Simon Cowell’s defence over the ongoing X Factor ‘exploitation’ controversy.
A number of former contestants have spoken out against the ‘abuse’ and mistreatment they allegedly faced during their time on the singing competition.
However, Byrne, 61, who competed on the show in 2010, has said she had ‘no problems at all’ during her time in the contest. Irish twins John and Edward Grimes kicked off the discussion, sharing that their biggest regret was ‘not telling the judges on X Factor to f*** off’.
