WWE are set to resume live broadcasts of Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown and NXT after being deemed an essential service by Florida governor Ron DeSantis.

The company were set to tape up to five weeks worth of shows at their Performance Center in Orlando, Florida but after the governor made a u-turn on WWE's classification as an essential business.

WWE head honcho Vince McMahon was reportedly concerned that the company's TV deals with Fox Sports and USA Network could be affected by them not broadcasting live every week.

Their agreements are said to state that WWE will provide 49 weeks of live shows a year but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced them to air pre-recorded shows, including Wrestlemania 36.
