WWE’s Hall of Fame class of 2022 with a long-awaited induction over WrestleMaina weekend.The legendary Mark Calaway has been the man under the famous black hat for over 30 years, having first debuted in WWE back in 1990.He’s arguably professional wrestling’s greatest ever character creations, having wowed audiences and won championships whilst performing all around the world.Now, with a stellar, unrivalled career spanning three decades behind him following his retirement at the tail end of 2020, he’s ready to step into WWE’s Hall of Fame.The 56-year-old has been confirmed by WWE as the headline act for this year’s class of inductees, with a hero’s welcome undoubtedly in store for the Texan in his home state.Reacting to the news on social media, fans paid tribute to The Deadman, one saying: "The greatest character in wrestling history, 30 on top of WWE, I hope The Undertaker goes into the HOF alone - he deserves it.”Another added: "Taker shouldn't just headline the class of 2022, he should BE the class of 2022, as Andre [The Giant] was the first inductee on his own.
