WWE's top female champions walked out of a live show just hours before they were set to take on a Scottish duo over night.WWE's women's tag team champions Sasha Banks and Naomi were set to take part in a six-pack challenge match against fellow top star Asuka, Ireland's Becky Lynch and the Scottish pair of Doudrop and Nikki.However, just hours before WWE's flagship Monday Night Raw show took place, rumours emerged that Banks and Naomi had actually refused to take part in the match – and that the duo from Scotland were reportedly the cause of the issue.Doudrop, whose real name is Kimberly Benson, and Nikki ASH – who is actually called Nicola Glencross and hails from Glasgow – have been teaming up in recent weeks, but have faced the pair of Banks and Naomi both together with other partners, and separately on numerous occasions.Had the match taken place, the winner was set to face current WWE Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair.But just a few hours before the show was set to hit their airwaves, the company released a statement to confirm the walkout.Although it was not confirmed that the Scottish pair were the reason the champions weren't happy, a spokesman for WWE said: “When Sasha Banks and Naomi arrived at the arena this afternoon, they were informed of their participation in the main event of tonight's Monday Night Raw. “During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk and walked out. “They claimed they weren't respected enough as tag team champions. “And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their.
