WW2 Spitfire that downed a Nazi plane before featuring in Hollywood films could be yours for a whopping £4.5 million. The one-seater 1943 Supermarine Spitfire Mark LF IXb is currently being stored in Northamptonshire, and is among few originals still capable of flying, having been restored in Australia five years ago.

During its military career MH415 is known to have shot down at least one German FW-190 light aircraft on September 24 1943, according to auctioneers.
