Emergency services were called to Ringley Road in Whitefield at around 5.30pm on Wednesday evening (July 21) following reports of a collision involving a car and a van.
Upon attending the scene, crews from North West Ambulance Services (NWAS) took the car driver, a woman in her 30s, to hospital with major-trauma related injuries.
