Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A young woman needed six staples to her head after she was brutally attacked in a Paisley close.The 24-year-old was rushed to the town’s Royal Alexandra Hospital after she was kicked, punched and struck with a weapon during a violent rammy in Well Street.Cops raced to the west end street around 5pm on Thursday after reports of a disturbance.It is understood the victim confronted youths acting antisocially in the close when another woman took umbrage and launched the shocking assault.The victim was battered about the head and body by a man and woman.It is believed she was struck with an unknown weapon during the attack.A 29-year-old man was also injured.
