Natasha Jolly's horrifying neglect was discovered after a neighbour became concerned about the smell coming from her flat, the RSPCA has said.
The neighbour investigated further, only to find Jolly's female, tan-colour, terrier-type dog lying dead, covered by a sheet.
The dog, whose name is not known, was discovered in an under-stairs covered, surrounded by old dog faeces with no natural light or any form of appropriate bedding.
