Woman, 29, found dead in Leicester street as man arrested on suspicion of murder
mirror.co.ukA murder investigation has been launched after a 29-year-old woman was found dead on the pavement in Leicester. Police confirmed a man from Leicester had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Officers were called to a cul-de-sac in the city in the early hours of the morning and discovered a woman lying injured on the pavement.
She was pronounced dead at the scene in Uppingham Close, off Uppingham Road. The scene has been cordoned off while police officers carry out enquiries.
