Wigan Warriors forward Willie Isa has been handed a two-match suspension by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel. Isa was charged with a Grade C dangerous throw during Wigan's defeat to St Helens on Sunday evening, an offence which saw the forward sin-binned in the early stages of the second half.
However, that has not been deemed sufficient enough punishment by the panel, who have handed Isa a suspension of two games, ruling him out of the Warriors' back-to-back meetings with Huddersfield Giants on Sunday and a week on Friday.
There is better news for Wigan elsewhere though, with youngster Kai Pearce-Paul avoiding a suspension despite being sin-binned himself.
