Wigan supporter's car defaced by Bolton fans after crowd trouble erupts at heated derby with police investigating

Despite manager Ian Evatt's claims of Bolton Wanderers being 'the best team in League One' earlier in the week, his side were thrashed 4-0 by the promotion-hunting Latics this afternoon (October 16).
The game was marred by fan trouble in the second half, however, with the referee having to speak to police at the game after missiles and debris were hurled onto the University of Bolton Stadium pitch.
A number of supporters were ejected from the ground, with Bolton promising to investigate the incidents with GMP and 'take action'.
