Most of these benefits aren’t affected by income or savings and you may be able to keep them if you have to go into a care home.
Although, if this does happen, you would no longer receive the mobility components for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
Financial support from the DWP is available whether you need help to live safely and comfortably independently for longer in your own home, or you need to move into a care home.
