Andreas Pereira was 'eager' for game time and 'wasn't playing in his position' at Manchester United. That's according to former United player Mikael Silvestre who spent nine years at Old Trafford himself and who knows Pereira.
Pereira, 25, made his United debut under Louis Van Gaal six years ago but he's since failed to establish himself in the Reds' first team and he's left the club on loan a total of four times with temporary spells at Granada, Valencia, Lazio and now Flamengo.
The midfielder has made 20 appearances at Flamengo this term and he's seemingly enjoying his football again in South America.
