Before he wowed Broadway with Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda appeared in a production of tick, tick… Boom! The 1990 musical, by American playwright and composer Jonathan Larson, is little known - certainly compared to the smash hit Hamilton.

But Larson is largely credited with Rent, a show that won him the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and three Tony awards, so the show has impressive pedigree.
