ok.co.ukActor Alec Baldwin has reportedly fired a prop gun while on a movie set in New Mexico, which killed a director of photography by accident.
Halyna Hutchins was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds to the stomach, but was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital in Albuquerque.The film's director Joel Souza is also said to have been injured as a result of the shooting, but was later released from hospital.
According to reports, the 48 year old was shot in the shoulder.The shooting took place Thursday (21 October) on the set for Alec’s upcoming movie, Rust.
The actor is currently away from his family to film the movie, and they would have heard the news from their home in New York.
