Princess Eugenie's baby son, who has been named August, is now 11th in line to the throne. He will move to 12th place once the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's second child arrives.
Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank welcomed their baby boy, who weighed 8lbs 1oz, just before 9am on Tuesday. August Philip Hawke Brooksbank falls after Eugenie and before the Earl of Wessex in the line of succession.
Edward, who was third in line when he was born in 1964, is currently in 12th place. Until Baby Sussex arrives, the first 10 places remain unchanged - the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, the Duke of Sussex, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, the Duke of York, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.
