The nation can finally rejoice as Call The Midwife is back on our screens this weekend. Everyone's favourite period drama, set in London's hard-up East End, focuses on a group of midwives in the late 1950s and 60s.
First coming on air in January 2012, we are now onto the 10th series of the heart-warming BBC show, which has explored a range of powerful topics such as teen pregnancy, birth defects, abortion, miscarriage and racism.
Some of the cast already had some pretty impressive CVs before they joined the show as there was a movie star made famous by Harry Potter and Matilda, an EastEnders legend and a hilarious comedian.
