Simon attended the glitzy relaunch of The King William on Manchester Road, following a £300,000 refurbishment, along with the glam stars of The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The 46-year-old actor from Wythenshawe, who plays former Rovers landlord Steve McDonald in the long-running soap, was joined by his wife Emma Gleave and her brother Mikey.
