England's lockdown roadmap has offered a glimmer of hope for holidaymakers, with Boris Johnson having set out some of the earliest dates when accommodation can reopen and holidays restart.
Under the current roadmap, some caravan parks in England can reopen from April 12, provided there are no shared indoor facilities for different households. (People can only stay at these with members of their own household).
For caravan parks where this isn't the case, they will need to wait until May 17 along with hotels, hostels and B&Bs. It's worth noting that the roadmap is being guided by data, not dates, so these are the earliest dates when accommodation could reopen, and could be subject to change.
