The Health Secretary will update the nation on the latest developments with coronavirus. Mr Hancock will be joined by deputy chief medical officer, Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, and medical director of primary care for NHS England and NHS Improvement, Dr Nikki Kanani.

It will take place at 5pm. It comes as the Prime Minister faced Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday after allegedly saying he would rather see “bodies pile high” than impose another lockdown.
