Chelsea are edging closer to welcoming Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge - seven years after he swapped west London for Merseyside.
The Belgian international left the Blues to join Everton in 2014 in the hope of getting more game time. Aged just 21, Lukaku signed a five-year-deal at Goodison Park, where he became a fan favourite under his current national boss Roberto Martinez.
But after becoming one of the most valuable strikers in world football during his time at Manchester United and Inter Milan, Chelsea now want the accomplished 28-year-old back.Lukaku helped fire Inter to the Serie A title last season as the Nerazzurri finally ended the domestic dominance of Juventus in Italy.
