Liverpool are set to submit plans for an Anfield development that will add thousands of seats to the home ground The Reds are preparing to welcome back 2,000 fans to the ground where they celebrated winning the Premier League title this summer.
Supporters have seen Jurgen Klopp’s side record an incredible run of 64 league games unbeaten at their fortress of a ground.
And The Athletic have reported that they are planning to fit even more of the Anfield faithful in the stadium. Liverpool’s proposed redevelopment will bring the total seating to 61,000 by adding 7,000 seats to the ground.The allocation would see 5,200 become general admission as the remaining 1,800 are offered with lounge and sports bat hospitality.
