Which? has warned Facebook users as fraudsters are posing as the popular pub chain. Wetherspoons closed down all of its social media back in 2018 but that hasn't stopped fraudsters from trying to scam social media users.

The posts claim that users who comment - and get a response from the page- are in with a chance of winning meal vouchers for Wetherspoons.

But the pages were in fact set up by scammers in a bid to target social media users.Posts ask you to like, comment and share with your friends reading: "Congratulations for those who have received comments from us, you have the opportunity to win them".
