Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg works fast and generally pumps out a movie every two years like clockwork or less. But it’s been three years since 2018’s “Ready Player One,” in some ways because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Spielberg was all ready to go with his adaptation of “West Side Story,” the classic 1960s musical directed by Robert Wise, based on the Broadway play of the same name, with music by the great Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
